Alcatraz is a beautiful, yet rocky, island near San Francisco. For years, it has been a place of immense power and brutality, serving as a military fort full of huge cannons, or as a federal prison for the worst of the worst. The same sense of power is bottled inside our Imperial Brut IPA 18. Hidden under a pretty light-colored, almost clear, appearance, fresh smell and a taste of white wine and gooseberries, lies an almost deadly amount of alcohol which you will not notice at first.
