Independent from habits and brewery cliches, New England India Pale Ale freed itself from stuffy and snobby beer styles that inspired its origin. It does not strive for bitterness and its ideal is not a clear lager. The brewing process is very difficult to handle, and that is why we consider this finely smelling, fresh bleary beer that tastes like tropical fruit, citruses, tree needles, spices and resin, the symbol of Independence.
